Newcastle have been heavily linked with the Sweden international and are said to have had a £45 million bid rejected by Nottingham Forest.

Now, TBR Football's Graeme Bailey reports that Arsenal are weighing up a possible move for Elanga this summer.

Elanga's representatives are understood to have held talks with a number of clubs — not just Eddie Howe's Newcastle.

Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Aston Villa are all believed to have the winger on their shortlist of potential summer targets.
