CBS reporter James Benge previously stated that Arsenal are not looking to sell Martinelli, and his representatives have denied any move to Saudi Arabia.

Transfer insider Ben Jacobs now reports that Arsenal have begun exploratory discussions on a contract extension.

While there is genuine interest from Al-Nassr, their primary target remains Liverpool's Luis Diaz, with a move for Martinelli possible only if they fail to secure Diaz.
