Transfer Insider: Galatasaray in Negotiations to Sign Arsenal Midfielder Leaving the Club Today – Initial Offer Made

Galatasaray are reportedly in negotiations to sign Thomas Partey on a free transfer this summer.
 

The 32-year-old midfielder is set to leave Arsenal today, as his contract officially expires. The Ghana international will now assess his options ahead of next season, with multiple clubs across Europe registering their interest.

According to TBR Football's Graeme Bailey, Galatasaray have opened talks with Partey over a potential move. The Turkish giants are also said to be pursuing Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gündogan as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.

Both Gündogan and Partey are believed to have received opening offers from Galatasaray.

However, Galatasaray face competition from their rivals Fenerbahçe, who are also attempting to secure Partey's signature this summer.
