UOL Esporte: Arsenal Make Contact Over Signing LOSC Lille’s Brazilian Star This Summer — Napoli Have Also Enquired

Arsenal are reportedly showing genuine interest in a potential summer move for LOSC Lille defender Alexsandro.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season in Ligue 1, earning his first-ever senior call-up to the Brazil national team, now coached by former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti.
His standout performances last season have also attracted interest from other European clubs.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, both Arsenal and Napoli have made approaches to sign Alexsandro this summer.
It is understood that the Gunners had scouts in attendance during Brazil's 1–0 win over Paraguay last Tuesday.
Mikel Arteta's side are looking to strengthen their defensive options this summer, and the Lille centre-back has reportedly been identified as a potential target to provide much-needed depth.
